Berlin is one of those transient kind of cities where friends appear, disappear and reappear all the time. It’s a great place to live and has so much to offer in terms of lifestyle, but in many other respects it’s not necessarily the place you want to live forever. Then again, some pledge to leave and then end up missing it so much they come back.
And so it is that I find myself making leaving cards quite regularly. This farewell card is a bit different as it is for a much-valued colleague of mine who has now left the company.
We work in an international team, and so I wanted to make a card to send from the whole team, made up of German, French, British, Polish, Spanish and Italian colleagues.
This was made once again using my trusty alphabet stamps and these great little alphabet beads which I found in a craft store here and I really must buy more of because they’re so handy.
Sometimes it’s not always easy to find the right words to put on these kind of cards, but when you can choose from six languages, it’s easier to cover all the ground.
